William Schafranek, MD, FACC, FSCAI
Dr. Schafranek is an interventional cardiologist at Hunterdon Medical Center. After completing a residency training program in Internal Medicine at St. Vincents Hospital in Manhattan, he went on to complete a fellowship in Cardiovascular Diseases & Hypertension and Interventional Cardiology at UMDNJ-Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in New Brunswick, NJ. He is Board Certified in Cardiovascular Disease and Interventional Cardiology. He is a member of the American College of Cardiology and the Society of Cardiovascular Angiograph and Intervention. He is currently the Medical Director of the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory, as well as the Director of the Primary PCI program. Dr. Schafranek performs not only cardiac interventions but is also well experienced in peripheral vascular interventions.
A native of New Jersey, Dr. Schafranek resides in Readington Township with his wife, Ludmila, and their three sons. He enjoys rooting for the New York Yankees and the New Jersey Devils. Fluent in Russian, he also enjoys reading about Russian history.
Ted Bialy MD, FACP, FACC
Dr. Bialy is a non-invasive cardiologist at Hunterdon Medical Center. He completed his medical residency at Muhlenberg Hospital in Plainfield, New Jersey and Cardiology Fellowship at Deborah Heart and Lung Center in Browns Mills, New Jersey. Dr. Bialy is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular Disease.
In 2016 Dr. Bialy developed the Hunterdon Heart Care Program. He serves as the Director of the program, which specializes in patients with heart failure and various cardiomyopathies. Hunterdon Medical Center was listed among the top 45 hospitals in the country with the lowest heart failure readmission rate by Becker’s Hospital Review.
He has been in practice in Hunterdon County since 1988. He speaks fluent Polish. Dr. Bialy is married to Dr. Grace Bialy and has two children. He enjoys photography and traveling. He has very strong arts and cultural interests. His personal history includes performing as a concert violinist and working as a journalist.
