Dr. Tara M. Tomasso
Dr. Tara M. Tomasso is a Board Certified Family Physician who has been practicing Family Medicine in South Jersey since 2001.
Her special interests include Community Outreach, Pediatrics, Women’s Health, and Sports Medicine. Dr. T feels that compassion and kindness are integral parts of being a physician.

During her residency in Abington, Pennsylvania, Dr. Tomasso served as a Team physician for the Jenkintown School District, as well as Coordinator and Educator for the Jenkintown High School Health Lectures. She is a graduate of the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey- Robert Wood Johnson Medical School (UMDNJ-RWJMS) where she received the Dean’s Award for Excellence. Dr. Tomasso was President of the Boricua Latino Health Organization- SALUD and served on the Medical Student Leadership Committee. A Dean’s List student, she received her Bachelor’s Degree in Biology from Rutgers College at Rutgers University, with a minor in Spanish Literature. Dr. Tomasso is fluent in Spanish y le encanta la cultura.
Dr. Tomasso is invloved with academic medicine at Temple University Medical School. She participates as a clinical professor for medical students. She is an Associate Staff Member at Virtua Hospital Systems and maintains Courtesy privileges’ at Underwood Memorial Hospital. Dr. T is also the Facility Attending Physician for Bellmawr Senior Housing Independent Living Community.
