Before joining Summit Health in 2012, Dr. Henry-Dindial practiced with Paramount Medical Group/Westfield Family Practice and Millburn Family Practices and Co-founded Springfield Family Practice. In addition, she was on the Faculty Staff of Overlook Family Medicine Residency Program in Summit.

Throughout her career Dr. Henry-Dindial has been committed to the importance of Organized Medicine. She has been extensively involved in advocacy efforts on behalf of patients and physicians through the Medical Society of NJ ( MSNJ), American Medical Association (AMA) and with NJ Academy of Family Physicians ( NJAFP).  In 2026,  Dr. Henry-Dindial became the 234th President of the Medical Society of NJ.  She is a Board of Trustees member for MSNJ, member of the  Board of Directors of NJAFP and currently a Delegate to the AMA bringing NJ concerns regarding the practice of medicine to the National Level.

Beyond clinical practice and advocacy through organized medicine, Dr. Henry-Dindial has had a lifelong commitment to teaching the next generation of doctors. She is a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey-New Jersey Medical School in Newark. Her activities have spanned providing education to 1st and 3rd year medical students, college students interested in medicine, and residents, and mentoring new physicians at Summit Health.  Before and after being on the Faculty at Overlook Family Medicine Residency, she remained as a volunteer Preceptor for over twenty years.  Keenly aware that healthcare disparities exist beyond zip codes, cultures and gender, Dr. Henry-Dindial continues to mentor the medical students from her Alma Mater,  CUNY Medical school, formerly known as The Sophie Davis School of Biomedical Education in New York City. In addition, she is proud to be part of the Women Physicians Leadership Academy, WPLA, working group, a subsection of the Medical Society of State of NY, where she helps to create valuable content for WPLA’s Fall and Spring Semester Programming. At the AMA, she is Co-Chair of the Women’s Physician Section standing committee GRROWL – Growing the Reach and Representation of Women Leaders, whose aim is to equip women physicians with the tools needed to bridge the gap in leadership roles within medicine. As the 1st Indo-Caribbean President of the Medical Society of NJ, she hopes to empower other women and those underrepresented in medicine, to realize their full potential.

Dr. Henry has long remained committed to improving her local community as well. At Atlantic Health System Overlook Medical Center in Summit, she serves as Secretary in the Department of Family Medicine as well as serves as a member of the Medical Care Review Committee. She has been an active member of the Senior Advisory Council of Berkeley Heights township.  In addition, Dr. Henry-Dindial is proud to have served her Parish, The Church of the Little Flower, Roman Catholic Church in Berkeley Heights, for over twenty years in multiple capacities from teaching religious ed, to participation in Family Promise and as a member of the Revitalization Committee. She currently serves as a lector and Eucharistic Minister.

 Dr. Henry -Dindial has been featured in the Consumer Research Council of America “Top Family Doctors” listing and has received the NJ Top Docs designation since 2019.
