At HealthCare for Life we combine the latest technology and evidence based medicine with “old-fashioned” bed-side manners to create a patient centered medical home for our patients.
Our philosophy is patients come first: thirty minute appointment times, providing ample time for discussion with the provider, after hours access to the doctor’s cell phone, same day sick visit appointments, on site laboratory and we pride ourselves on staying on time for your appointment. Our entire staff goes the extra mile to help patients in a friendly and courteous manner. At HealthCare for Life you are part of our extended family and treated that way.
Mildred Frantz, MD
Dr. Mildred Frantz is Board Certified in Family Medicine. After completing an internship at renowned Mayo Clinic and a Chief Residency position at Penn State, she opened HealthCare for Life as a solo practitioner in 2005. Dr. Frantz believes in preventing and treating disease through a combination of traditional medicine along with proper nutrition and lifestyle changes. Her interests include plant based diets, technology, reading, traveling, golfing and most of all, time with her family. Dr Frantz saved my life. She insisted on a stress test that showed major blockages in three places which led to a triple bypass surgery.
I am extremely fussy (and opinionated) when it comes to doctors and come from a long line of folks who avoid them and live to be 90 plus so if I go to Dr. Frantz she must be doing something right. Finally a doctor who doesn’t talk to you like you are an idiot.
Dr. Frantz took care of my elderly mother for 4 years after I relocated her at the age of 88 to NJ. Dr. Frantz helped maintain the quality of my mother’s life her last 4 years on earth, and provided emotional support to me and my family as my mother declined and died last October. I could not have asked for a more knowledgeable and compassionate doctor. She always has time, a rare quality these days.
Dr Frantz, is the most understanding, compassionate doctor I have ever been to see. Not only is she very accurate with her medical knowledge, but she takes the time to be with you when there are personal issues which are causing your medical problems. You leave the office knowing that you have a “best friend” in a field where you basically know nothing and are in someone else’s hands. Kudos to you Dr Frantz..I thank you for the way you make me feel mentally and physically. You deserve to win this award again and again!!
