About Us

Central Jersey Family Medical Group, PA was founded to provide compassionate, quality healthcare that improves wellness, quality of life, and enables our patients to get the most out of life. Our doctors provide the latest evidence based care for a broad range of acute and chronic problems including: hypertension, acute respiratory infections, diabetes, back pain, sports injuries, urinary tract infections, hypercholesterolemia, heart disease, thyroid disease, and asthma. In addition to seeing patients in the office setting the doctors attend patients in the acute inpatient setting at Robert Wood Johnson Hospital in New Brunswick as well as in the subacute setting at several local rehabilitation centers.

Our Doctor

Dr. Joseph A. Bordieri

Dr. Joe Bordieri, “Doctor B,” is a New Jersey native. He was born at the Jersey shore and has lived most of his life in New Jersey.

Dr. Bordieri is committed to providing the best care to his patients. He is also an avid endurance athlete. He is a four-time IRONMAN finisher and regularly competes in triathlons, marathons, half-marathons, and obstacle course races. He works with patients to help them find the proper balance of exercise and nutrition to maintain an active and productive lifestyle for many years to come.

Education & Training
  • He received his Bachelors of Science in Biology with Honors from Moravian college and then attended the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey School of Osteopathic Medicine (now Rowan University School of Osteopathic Medicine).
  • He completed his Family Practice Residency at St. Barnabas Healthcare System’s Union Hospital where he also served as the Chief Resident and was Resident of the Year two years in a row.
