Founded in 2001, the NJ Heart/ NJ MedCare is one of the largest multi-specialty physician group in New Jersey. We specialize in providing complete and comprehensive care for children, adults, and seniors in our state of the art offices. At NJ MedCare we understand the need for continuity of care. Therefore, all our offices have Electronic Medical Records and all the offices are connected by a network. This provides the flexibility to our patients to visit any of our offices. Dr. Jasjit S. Walia, M.D., M.B.A., F.A.C.C.
Dr. Walia is a highly-recommended invasive cardiologist who is board certified in Cardiovascular diseases and Internal Medicine. Dr. Walia is actively involved in research and training of medical students, residents, fellows and other physicians. His patients appreciate his considerate bedside manners and the human touch that he brings to their overall care. He believes in communicating with patients and their family members on a personal level, which has earned him the loyalty of his patients. He is fluent in English, Indian languages and speaks Spanish as well.

We accept most insurance plans, HMOs, PPOs and Medicare and Medicaid. We understand the complexity of insurance requirements and claims procedures and will assist you in processing your claims. Please check with your insurance carrier to verify your coverage prior to your appointment.
Payment Options For patients who are not covered by insurance programs we offer very affordable payment plans. In addition, we can provide advice through various community outreach programs and health fairs that are scheduled at various times throughout the year.
Although we do offer same-day appointments when available, we encourage making appointments as far in advance as possible. Our friendly staff will be happy to answer any questions you have regarding scheduling and payment arrangements.
