New Brunswick Cardiology Group is a leading, specialized medical practice dedicated to the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of cardiovascular disorders, including coronary, carotid, and peripheral vascular disease (PVD), cardiac arrhythmias, and heart failure.
Our team provides comprehensive cardiac care at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital and St. Peter’s University Hospital, with cardiologists available 24 hours a day, seven days a week for consultation. We address all aspects of general cardiology and coordinate subspecialty evaluations as needed.
In our conveniently located offices, patients receive complete consultative evaluations, advanced diagnostic testing, and innovative, evidence-based therapies delivered by an experienced medical team.
Subhashini A. Gowda, M.D., FACC
Dr. Gowda is an Electrophysiologist who joined New Brunswick Cardiology Group in 2005, establishing a specialized division focused on the electrical health of the heart. She completed her Internal Medicine residency at Wayne State University Hospital in Detroit, Michigan, followed by a Cardiology fellowship at Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Dr. Gowda then pursued advanced Electrophysiology fellowship training at St. Luke’s Roosevelt Hospital, Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons in New York, New York.
Dr. Gowda has conducted research across multiple areas of cardiology, presenting her findings at both national and international conferences. Since joining NBCG, Dr. Gowda has been a leader in promoting awareness of cardiovascular risk factors, preventing heart disease, and improving detection and management of heart rhythm abnormalities. She is also passionate about women’s heart health, arrhythmia prevention strategies, and women’s advocacy.
