With over 20 years of experience in medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology, Dr. Chima is a trusted expert in skin health and aesthetics. Board-certified by the American Board of Dermatology, she is widely respected for her diagnostic precision, compassionate care, and commitment to excellence. Known among her peers as the “doctor’s dermatologist,” she is the skin care provider of choice for many fellow physicians.

Dr. Chima is an active member of the New Jersey Dermatological Society, where she has served on the executive board, and she regularly volunteers with the American Academy of Dermatology’s Skin Cancer Screening Program to support early detection and prevention efforts in the community.

A graduate of Boston University’s prestigious accelerated seven-year BA/MD program, Dr. Chima earned her medical degree from UMDNJ-Newark. She completed her internship at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia and went on to serve as chief resident during her dermatology residency in Washington, DC. Her training included extensive experience in cosmetic and laser procedures for all skin types.

To further deepen her expertise, Dr. Chima completed a fellowship in dermatopathology at UMDNJ-Newark — a distinction that allows her to diagnose complex skin conditions at a microscopic level, giving her patients an unmatched level of care.
