Jonathan Gloth, MD
Jonathan Gloth, MD, is a board-certified ophthalmologist and fellowship-trained retinal specialist at InVision EyeCare. He provides advanced care for a range of complex retinal conditions, including age-related macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, retinal vascular occlusions, and uveitis.
Dr. Gloth graduated summa cum laude from Rutgers University, where he also received the Dean’s Award for Academic Excellence. He earned his medical degree from Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School and was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. He went on to complete his ophthalmology residency, followed by specialized fellowship training in vitreoretinal surgery and uveitis at Albany Medical College, where he also served as a Clinical Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology.
Board-certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology, Dr. Gloth is a Fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and a member of the American Society of Retina Specialists. He has authored publications in peer-reviewed journals and has presented his work at national conferences.
His surgical expertise includes retinal detachment repair, macular hole repair, macular pucker surgery, and diabetic hemorrhage management. He also treats complications related to cataract surgery, including retained lens fragments and intraocular lens repositioning, with a focus on delivering precise, patient-centered care.
