Dr. Brian Bauer is a highly experienced orthopedic surgeon who has cared for patients at Holy Name Medical Center for nearly three decades. Over his 28-year tenure, he has held multiple leadership positions, including Chief of Orthopedic Surgery, Vice President of the Medical Staff, and President of the Medical Staff. In his busy Bergen County practice, Eastern Orthopedic Associates he provides comprehensive orthopedic care—specializing in joint replacement, arthroscopic surgery, and pediatric orthopedics—using the most advanced surgical techniques available.

Board-certified and re-certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery through 2028, Dr. Bauer is an active member of leading national and state organizations, including the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgery and the New Jersey Orthopedic Association.

After completing his orthopedic residency at Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn, Dr. Bauer established his practice in Teaneck, New Jersey, where he has proudly served the community for decades. His commitment to care extends far beyond his local practice. For more than fifteen years, he has volunteered on medical missions throughout Latin America, including ten trips to Tela, Honduras, where he has performed life-changing surgeries for children in need. In recognition of his humanitarian work, he received the Surgery Award from the Healing the Children Foundation in 2005.
