Dr. Balazs Galdi is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon specializing in shoulder, elbow, and sports medicine. A North Jersey native, he serves as an Associate Professor of Orthopedic Surgery at Rutgers–New Jersey Medical School. Dr. Galdi is known for his expertise in advanced orthopedic care and his commitment to helping patients return to peak performance.

He earned his undergraduate degree in Biological Sciences from Rutgers University, where he graduated Summa Cum Laude, captained the Division I Men’s Varsity Tennis Team, and was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa. He went on to receive his medical degree from Albert Einstein College of Medicine, where he was honored with membership in the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society and named a Golding Distinguished Scholar.

Dr. Galdi completed his orthopedic surgery residency at UMDNJ in Newark and advanced fellowship training in Shoulder, Elbow, and Sports Medicine at Columbia University, where he assisted in the care of professional athletes, including the New York Yankees.

Outside of his clinical practice, Dr. Galdi remains dedicated to academic medicine, research, and mentoring future orthopedic surgeons.
