Dr. Andrea E. Goldstein
Known for her attentive and compassionate approach, Dr. Goldstein prioritizes open communication and patient education. She takes the time to listen carefully, ensuring each patient feels informed, supported, and confident in their care plan.
In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Goldstein serves on multiple hospital committees, including the Clinical Management Committee and the Pelvic Health Committee at Hunterdon Medical Center. Outside of the office, she is actively involved in her community, volunteering through her synagogue and participating in annual food deliveries for the elderly through the Jewish Relief Agency. She has a background in classical voice training and currently sings with the NJ Women Song choir. She also enjoys Broadway musicals and values time spent traveling and relaxing with her husband and two children.
Andrea E. Goldstein, MD
Andrea Ellen Goldstein, MD, is a board-certified gastroenterologist dedicated to delivering thoughtful, patient-centered care. With a strong focus on both prevention and advanced treatment, she is committed to helping patients manage complex digestive conditions while promoting long-term health and wellness.
Dr. Goldstein earned her master’s degree in biophysics and physiology from Georgetown University, where she also received her medical degree. She completed her internal medicine residency at North Shore University Hospital in New York, followed by a gastroenterology fellowship at the University at Buffalo through Western NY Healthcare Systems. She is board certified in gastroenterology and hepatology and maintains active memberships in the American College of Gastroenterology, the American Gastroenterological Association, and the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy.
With a passion for staying at the forefront of medicine, Dr. Goldstein brings the latest advancements in care to her patients, including innovative treatments for conditions such as hepatitis C. She also emphasizes the importance of preventive care, recognizing the critical role procedures like colonoscopy play in reducing the risk of colorectal cancer.
