Chirag Shah, MD
Dr. Chirag Shah is a board-certified ophthalmologist with a specialization in corneal and refractive surgery. He is one of the most experienced LASIK surgeons in the area.
Over the past two decades, Dr. Shah has performed over 55,000 vision correction procedures, including LASIK eye surgery, PRK, SMILE LASIK, cataract surgery, refractive lens exchanges, implantable contact lenses as well as premium intraocular lenses.
Dr. Shah was previously the national medical director at The LASIK Vision Institute and national executive medical director at LASIK Plus. He founded LASIK Experts to provide more comprehensive, personalized and state-of-the art solutions to his patients needs than just simply offering LASIK and PRK with limited technology options that most corporate and individual facilities provide.
Apart from his in-clinic duties, Dr. Shah is also a teaching and attending physician at Wills Eye Hospital. He continues to teach the latest in surgical techniques to residents and future doctors.

There is nothing bad I could say about my experience with the SMILE procedure at Lasik Experts. From the front desk to Dr. Shah, everyone was wonderful, quick and on time for all appointments, and so patient to answer every question I had. I never felt pressured into anything, they were very honest about what would be the best procedure for me, and checked my scans multiple times to ensure everything would go perfectly. I woke up the morning after with almost 20/20 vision. The procedure was painless and the side effects were almost nonexistent as long as I followed the post-op instructions. I am so glad I decided to have SMILE after being too anxious to do so for years! I would recommend Lasik Experts to anyone looking to have corrective eye surgery.
