Dr. Kristine Keane is a leading clinical and sports neuropsychologist with over 20 years of experience diagnosing and treating concussions, brain injuries, and cognitive disorders. As the founder and CEO of the Center for NeuroWellness since 2006, she specializes in sports concussion, mild traumatic brain injury (mTBI), memory loss, Alzheimer’s, stroke, Parkinson’s, post-COVID neurocognitive decline, and ADHD.

Dr. Keane serves as Clinical Director of the Hackensack Meridian Health Neuroscience Concussion Program South and is a consulting neuropsychologist at several New Jersey hospitals, including Jersey Shore University Medical Center. She’s also an Assistant Professor at the Hackensack Meridian School of Medicine and formerly the team neuropsychologist for Gotham FC of the National Women’s Soccer League. Her research background includes studies on sports concussion and cognitive assessment tools, and she’s a frequent speaker on topics like brain health, memory loss, youth concussion, and mindfulness.

Dr. Keane completed her clinical training at the University of Rochester Medical Center and specialized in neuropsychology and forensic psychology. She also gained early experience with the Alzheimer’s Disease Initiative and the Center for Combat Trauma Studies at the VA.

Beyond her clinical work, Dr. Keane is co-author of Be All In: Raising Kids for Success in Sports and Life, a practical guide for sports families.

Dr. Kathleen Boss is a licensed psychologist in New Jersey and the Clinical Director at the Center for NeuroWellness. She specializes in psychological and educational evaluations for children, adolescents, and adults, with expertise in ADHD, learning disorders, behavioral challenges, anxiety, depression, and bipolar disorder. Passionate about the power of assessment, Dr. Boss uses testing to guide treatment, uncover individual strengths, and provide a clearer understanding of each client’s unique needs.

Dr. Boss holds advanced degrees in Clinical and Educational Psychology from the University of Hartford and Montclair State University, and completed her APA-accredited internship at the John L. Gildner Regional Institute for Children and Adolescents. Her diverse clinical background includes roles in community mental health, school-based programs, and multidisciplinary teams, as well as supervising doctoral trainees and conducting specialized evaluations, including court-ordered and pre-employment assessments. She has contributed to research on child maltreatment reporting and media influence on children, and is a member of the American Psychological Association and New Jersey Psychological Association.
