Arthritis and Rheumatology Associates has proudly served the Vineland community for over three decades, providing expert care to both adult and pediatric patients. Founded in 1993, our clinic offers comprehensive evaluation and treatment for arthritis, osteoporosis, and a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions.

Stephen Soloway MD, FACP, FACR
Dr. Stephen Soloway is a board-certified expert in internal medicine and rheumatology with over three decades of experience diagnosing and treating complex autoimmune and musculoskeletal conditions. He earned his B.S. in Biology from Stony Brook University and his M.D. from the American University of the Caribbean. He completed his internal medicine residency at Mercy Catholic Medical Center, followed by a rheumatology fellowship at The Medical College of Pennsylvania and the Philadelphia VA Medical Center under the mentorship of the renowned Dr. Ralph Schumacher, Jr. Additional specialized training in pediatric rheumatology was completed at St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children in Philadelphia, alongside the respected Dr. Goldsmith.
Dr. Soloway further broadened his training with rotations at Boston University Hospital, Creighton University Medical Center, and the Omaha VA. Since 2003, he has consistently been recognized as a Castle Connolly Top Doctor for his clinical excellence and patient care.
In addition to his medical practice, Dr. Soloway is a prolific author, having published numerous peer-reviewed articles and two widely acclaimed books: Bad Medicine and Medical Politics. These works provide unique, patient-centered insights into conditions such as gout, rheumatoid arthritis, lupus, psoriatic arthritis, osteoporosis, vasculitis, and more—offering information rarely found in traditional medical literature.
Dr. Soloway has served as Chairman of Rheumatology for the Inspira Health Network since 1996 and is widely regarded as a leading rheumatologist across the Philadelphia, New Jersey, and Delaware region. He is a Fellow of both the American College of Physicians and the American College of Rheumatology, and he continues to care for patients from across the country and around the globe.
