Dr. Parikh brings a diverse and accomplished medical background to his practice, offering expertise across multiple specialties within interventional pain management. His clinical approach is grounded in extensive education, research, and hands-on experience.

After earning his medical degree in India and completing a post-doctorate in orthopedic surgery, Dr. Parikh advanced his training with two years of spinal research at the University of Southern California (USC), where he authored multiple peer-reviewed journal articles. He went on to complete a surgical internship at Columbia University, followed by a residency in anesthesiology at New York Medical College. To further specialize in pain management, Dr. Parikh completed a post-doctoral fellowship in interventional procedures for chronic benign and malignant pain at Thomas Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia. From 1995 to 2001, he founded and directed the Pain Management Center at The General Hospital Center at Passaic, while also contributing to the Neuroscience Steering Committee of the Atlantic Health System.

With a deep interest in complex and treatment-resistant pain conditions, Dr. Parikh utilizes state-of-the-art technologies—including neuromodulation and advanced interventions—to help interrupt and manage pain pathways. Since 2001, he has operated a successful private practice dedicated to delivering highly personalized and effective pain relief solutions.
