Advanced Dermatology
Since 1986, Advanced Dermatology, P.C. and the Center for Laser & Cosmetic Surgery has been offering a wide array of medical, cosmetic, laser and plastic surgery services. In addition to specializing in all areas of adult and pediatric dermatology, many of our dermatologists have subspecialty training in their area of expertise.
Our facilities provide personalized, conservative, effective and less painful treatments for a variety of skin conditions. Our board-certified physicians are collectively fellows of the American Academy of Dermatology, American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery, American Contact Dermatitis Society, and many other societies and serve as official spokespeople for The American Academy of Dermatology and The American Society for Dermatologic Surgery. With our special expertise and the unusually broad range of services provided at our state-of-the-art offices, we have been featured in many local and national newspapers and magazines as well as radio and television news programs. We continue to improve our procedures and services with the most up-to-date advanced instruments and techniques that the dermatological field offers.
Dr. Aton M. Holzer
Aton M. Holzer, MD, is a board-certified dermatologist and fellowship-trained Mohs Surgeon specializing in Mohs surgery and procedural dermatology, with nearly a decade of experience in all aspects of general dermatology.
Dr. Barry Silver
Dr. Barry Silver provides medical, surgical and cosmetic dermatology services to patients of all ages. His patient-focused philosophy is to always find the most efficient, cost-effective and complete resolution to the problem at hand. With special surgical skills in a wide range of dermatologic procedures, he offers precision treatment of varied conditions, from spider veins to anti-aging treatments, and also has expertise in Botox® treatments and facial fillers such as Juvederm™, Restylane® and Radiesse®.
Dr. Joshua L Fox
Dr. Fox is known nationwide as a leading authority in the field of dermatology, with an expertise in skin cancer, cosmetic surgery, and laser procedures. He is the founder and president of the New Age Skin Research Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to research and education.
Dr. Fox is the founder and director of Advanced Dermatology, P.C. and the Center for Laser and Cosmetic Surgery. He and his associates have expanded the practice into one of the largest in the region for dermatology, laser & cosmetic surgery. The practice owns more lasers than any other hospital or dermatology practice on the East Coast and has been a resource center for educating dermatologists, laser surgeons, cosmetic surgeons, and others about laser procedures, skin cancer, and cosmetic surgery techniques.

Dr. Paige Applebaum-Farkas
Dr. Paige Farkas is a board certified dermatologist with experience in all areas of medical, cosmetic and laser dermatology. She founded Comprehensive Dermatology and Laser Center in 1996 and built a busy and successful practice over the following decade. The focus of her practice is general and cosmetic dermatology and skin cancer screening examinations utilizing dermatoscopy technology. She treats adults and children of all ages.
She is a caring physician with excellent clinical experience and reputation and a keen academic perspective. Dr. Farkas provides cutting edge dermatological care with compassion.
