Mouli Patel, DMD
Dr. Mouli grew up in New Jersey. She completed her Bachelor’s degree with a dual major in Biology and Psychology at Rutgers University. She then went on to attend dental school at Rutgers University as well, where she realized her passion for working with children. She decided to continue her training at Rutgers University and completed a 2 year pediatric dental residency. At Rutgers she had the privilege of learning from Dr. Glenn, Dr. Mary and Dr. Nanci. After completion of residency, Dr. Mouli became a board-certified pediatric dentist with the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry.
Dr. Mouli believes that good oral habits are formed early in life and that a beautiful, healthy smile can have a significant impact on a child’s development. She understands that every child is unique after all, that’s the best part about working with kids! She understands that the dental visit can be a source of anxiety for some children (and their parents). She strives to build a relationship and trust with her patients and their families to help them work through their fears and give them the tools necessary for a lifetime of good oral health.
On a personal note, when Dr. Mouli is not in the office, she can be found hiking, running, and strength training!
Roshni Patel, DMD
Dr. Roshni was raised in Florida. She attended the University of Florida (Go Gators!), where she was admitted to the combined B.S.-D.M.D seven year program. Upon completion of dental school she completed her pediatric residency at Rutgers Dental School where she trained under Dr. Glenn, Dr. Nanci and Dr. Mary. It was during that time she first met Dr. Mouli. She is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry.
Dr. Roshni moved back home to Florida after residency where she spent eleven years in private practice. She never thought she would find herself back in New Jersey, but then she met her now husband. They welcomed a son shortly after. Now in a complete full circle moment is excited to join Pediatric Dentistry of Union as Dr. Mouli’s associate.
