Patrick T. Cuozzo, D.D.S.
Dr. Patrick Cuozzo is a third-generation orthodontic specialist, researcher, educator, and published author who is passionate about creating healthy, confident smiles. Patients at his modern Lincroft and Sea Girt offices benefit from advanced orthodontic technology, including digital X-rays, digital imaging, computerized charting, and premium treatment materials, allowing for precise, efficient care in a comfortable setting.
Dr. Cuozzo is joined by a dedicated team of professionals who provide care across both locations. With more than 140 years of combined experience, the team is committed to making every visit a positive one through personalized attention, expertise, and compassionate service.

James Dodd, DDS
Dr. James Dodd’s journey to orthodontics began early. After receiving Phase 1 orthodontic treatment as a child, he knew he wanted to help create healthy, confident smiles for others. Originally from Virginia, he earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Virginia before attending Virginia Commonwealth University School of Dentistry.
During dental school, Dr. James became deeply involved in orthodontic research, earning recognition from the American Association of Orthodontists with the AAO Award for Exceptional Interest in the Development of the Oro-Facial Complex. He went on to complete his orthodontic residency at Albert Einstein College of Medicine/Montefiore Medical Center, where he served as Chief Resident and gained extensive experience treating a wide range of complex orthodontic cases.
Today, Dr. James is a board-certified orthodontist and Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics. He provides comprehensive orthodontic care for patients of all ages and is known for creating a comfortable, welcoming experience while building lasting relationships with his patients. Outside the office, he enjoys spending time with his wife Anna, cheering on UVA athletics, exploring Monmouth County with his dog Tito, and catching the latest movies.

Cuozzo Orthodontics offers complimentary consultations, convenient hours and flexible payment plans.
Both offices are equipped with the latest technologies in orthodontics including Computerized Charting, Digital Models, Digital X-rays, Digital 3D X-rays, Itero Digital Impressions, Invisalign and ULAB Aligner software, Text and E-mail appointment confirmation, and Online access to patient images.
Our orthodontic appliances and wires allow for fewer appointments and decreased discomfort for our patients.
We take a conservative approach to treatment, and our goal is to have our patients in treatment, for the least amount of time possible while ensuring an excellent orthodontic result.

Our office hours are Monday through Thursday, 9:00 AM to 7:00PM with the same providers alternating between locations. Patient appointments are scheduled from 12:00 PM to 7:00 PM, with two early patient days each month on Wednesdays and Thursdays.
From Mid-June through Labor Day our patient appointments are scheduled from 7:30AM to 3:30PM with two late patient days each month on Wednesdays and Thursdays.

The entire staff is amazing as is Dr. Cuozzo. He made sure my child’s mouth was ready for treatment rather than just placing the hardware on her. It took us three visits to get there. My child doesn’t mind coming here because she knows she will be treated well. What more can a mom ask for!

The scheduling for Cuozzo Orthodontics is seamless. They use a technology as far as reminding you via text. The flexibility that they offer, the ease that they offer… I’m not sitting outside in the waiting room. If I sat in the waiting room more than five minutes it was a lot. I respect the fact that they value everybody’s time.
