Philip R. Geron, DMD
Dr. Philip Geron is a board-certified oral and maxillofacial surgeon with over three decades of experience delivering expert care in Westfield, NJ. He earned his dental degree from UMDNJ in Newark, where he also completed his residency in oral and maxillofacial surgery at UMDNJ and the Jersey City Medical Trauma Center.
In addition to his surgical training, Dr. Geron pursued a two-year fellowship in orofacial pain at UMDNJ, becoming certified in both orofacial pain and general anesthesia. He further expanded his expertise with advanced certifications in pain management and sleep disorders, positioning him as a leading specialist in treating complex headache syndromes, TMJ disorders, facial pain, and sleep apnea.
A Fellow of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, Dr. Geron has been serving the Westfield community since 1993. His practice offers the full scope of oral and maxillofacial procedures, including wisdom teeth removal, dental implants, and in-office general anesthesia, combining clinical precision with a compassionate approach to patient care.

Dr. Geron is wonderful, I went for TMJ, not only he helped me with that, I had other health issues and he suggested a different approach towards them. I followed his advice and got a lot better. The BEST!! I’ve been dealing with TMJ for over 10 years now and he is the first MD that has been able to manage my pain/symptoms. I met with him only a month ago and I feel 100% better.
