Kathleen H. Hong, MD, FACOG, HCLD/TS (ABB)

Dr. Kathleen Hong is a board certified Reproductive Endocrinologist Infertility specialist, Obstetrician and Gynecologist. Her research interests include embryo culture in the IVF laboratory, comprehensive chromosome screening (CCS), endometrial synchrony, and heritable genetic disorders.

Dr. Hong and her team not only stay up-to-date on the latest fertility techniques, they consistently contribute to the development of new and revolutionary approaches to reproductive care. Her methods help patients who had previous difficulty conceiving, even with help from their physician.

Dr. Hong is one of the few reproductive endocrinologists in the nation who has trained in embryology. She finds this experience is crucial to improving patient care and dedicates a portion of her time to the embryology laboratory.

  • Marcus W. Jurema, MD, FACOG

    Dr. Marcus Jurema is a board certified Reproductive Endocrinologist and Obstetrician and Gynecologist.

    Having developed and implemented the In Vitro Maturation (IVM) of Oocytes Program at Brown University, Dr. Jurema is nationally and internationally known for his technical advancements in the field of oocyte (egg) maturation, a technology that allows women’s eggs to mature outside the body.

    He is a nationally and internationally invited speaker who often participates in expert panels teaching professionals in the field of reproductive science. His areas of clinical expertise include assisted reproductive technologies, recurrent pregnancy loss/implantation failure, ovarian reserve issues, fertility preservation, third-party reproduction and reproductive surgery.

    Dr. Jurema grew up in Brazil and speaks fluent Portuguese and Spanish.

    • Following his fellowship, Dr. Jurema accepted an academic position at Brown University Medical School as a Clinical Assistant Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Division of Reproductive Medicine and Infertility at The Women and Infants’ Hospital in Rhode Island.
      • There he pursued his clinical research interests and became Director of the Egg Freezing Program and Co-Director for Brown’s Donor Egg Program.

    Leo Doherty, MD, FACOG

    Dr. Leo Doherty is a board certified Reproductive Endocrinologist Infertility specialist and Obstetrician and Gynecologist. He was inspired to pursue medicine at a very young age. Growing up in the suburbs of Boston where his father was a pharmacist, he looked forward to visiting his father at work. “I felt like I was saving lives by helping my father discard expired medications or performing other small tasks around the pharmacy,” he remembers. “I knew then that I wanted to devote my life to helping people.”

    Dr. Doherty’s areas of expertise include improving infertility diagnosis and treatment, particularly in the areas of recurrent pregnancy loss, uterine fibroids, embryo and oocyte cryopreservation, uterine anomalies, and minimally invasive endoscopic and robotic-assisted surgeries.

    Dr. Shastri is a board certified Reproductive Endocrinologist, Obstetrician and Gynecologist. She was initially inspired to pursue a career in women’s health and reproductive medicine by her mother, who practiced as an OB/GYN for over 30 years. Ultimately it was the cutting edge science and technology coupled with the powerful physician-patient relationship that compelled her to pursue a career in this field.

    Dr. Shastri has extensive experience in the field of in vitro fertilization and has a particular interest and expertise in genetic disorders, preimplantation genetic diagnosis, diminished ovarian reserve, fertility preservation and egg freezing.

    Dr. Micheline Chu is a board certified Reproductive Endocrinologist Infertility Specialist and Obstetrician and Gynecologist. Dr. Chu’s areas of specialty include polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS), male infertility, and non-traditional family building.

    Dr. Chu found her passion in medicine. “It’s in my nature to help others, and I find it most rewarding,” she says. “Every family is different and I feel fortunate that I am able to help my patients build their families. I get to know my patients personally, as unique individuals, and I am readily accessible to provide support throughout their treatment process,” says Dr. Chu.

    Dr. Treiser is a board certified Reproductive Endocrinologist, Obstetrician and Gynecologist who served as co-founder and Laboratory Director of IVF New Jersey for the past 25 years, before joining Reproductive Medicine Associates of New Jersey’s (RMANJ) team of accomplished physicians.

    Dr. Treiser’s areas of specialty include improving infertility diagnosis and treatment, particularly in the areas of third party reproduction, gestational surrogacy, egg donation, and reproductive ethics. In 2005, she established the egg freezing program at IVF New Jersey where she helped young women preserve their fertility to ensure they could have a family when the time is right for them.

    With almost 15 years’ experience in the field of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility, Dr. Melissa C. Yih has established herself as a trusted infertility specialist in the Princeton, New Jersey area. “Since the age of 7, I knew I wanted to be a doctor,” says Dr. Yih. “I have always had a strong desire to help people. I truly enjoy getting to know my patients, hearing their stories, and being a part of their family building decisions.”

    Dr. Yih’s areas of specialty include improving infertility diagnosis and treatment, particularly in the areas of fertility preservation for patients diagnosed with cancer (oncology), adolescent gynecology and gestational surrogacy
