MorningStar Family Health Center was founded on a deep belief in the importance of dignity and respect for every person throughout every stage of life. You are a whole person- not a collection of body parts! We are committed to caring for you in an integrated way.
Everything we do at MorningStar is centered around you, the patient – because you hold the keys to so many aspects shaping your health. And without your active participation in your journey to health, none of our wisdom will create long-term health.
Jean Golden-Tevald, DO, CMFCP, FCP, IFMCP
Dr. Jean received her training in the Creighton Model Fertility Care System and NaPro TECHNOLOGY at the Pope Paul VI Institute for the Study of Human Reproduction in Omaha, NE in 2002. She is trained as a Fertility Care Practitioner as well as a Certified Fertility Care Medical Consultant. She is an active member of the American Academy of Fertility Care Professionals as well as the International Institute of Restorative Reproductive Medicine.
Dr. Jean and her husband have lived in Hunterdon County since 1989. They and their seven adult children enjoy the rural atmosphere and beautiful countryside.
Edward J. Fleming, MD, CFCMC
Dr Eddie completed a Transitional Year Residency at Lehigh Valley Health System before deciding to pursue Family Medicine at Virginia Commonwealth University – Shenandoah Valley Family Medicine Residency. Following graduation, Dr. Fleming worked for Holy Spirit Health System in the Harrisburg, Pennsylvania region for two years at a busy outpatient office, seeing patients ranging from newborns to well over 90 years old.
At Morning Star Family Health Center he devotes his efforts toward a broad spectrum of outpatient family medicine. Dr. Fleming uses his training in Creighton Model FertilityCare & NaPro TECHNOLOGY in the treatment of many fertility health issues.
In his spare time, Dr. Fleming likes to spend time with family and friends, reading, exercising, being active in Church, and doing outdoor activities such as hiking, kayaking, and camping.
MorningStar is not your average Family Medicine Practice. Our goal is to empower you to NOT be dependent on doctors and the health care system. Imagine that! So how do we do this? Well, education is the bottom line.
We want you to be educated in the foundational elements of taking care of your human body so that you can activate the self-healing properties of your body. Root cause resolution is also key, by finding and resolving the underlying cause of your symptoms, real health can be achieved.

As of 6/1/2015, we are only participating in Medicare. We will now be considered out of network with all other insurance carriers, including Medicare Advantage Plans. Knowing your insurance benefits is your responsibility. Please contact your insurance company with any questions you may have regarding your coverage. Payment in full is expected at time of service with the exception of Medicare policy holders. At each visit, we will provide a detailed receipt of medical services received for you to submit for out-of-network, HSA or FSA reimbursement if available to you.
