Ronald J. Santangelo, D.C., M.S., M.M.C.
I was a patient first. After suffering from a horseback riding accident, my college wrestling career ended. I soon discovered chiropractic when my brother who was attending Palmer College of Chiropractic performed a spinal adjustment to my lower back. This life changing event redirected my academic focus to become a chiropractor.
Dr. Santangelo has two brothers and two nephews who are chiropractors and is awaiting the graduation of his niece from Life University of Chiropractic.

I have been a patient of Dr. Ron’s for over ten years. During this time, he has been more than a doctor he has been a mentor. Dr. Ron does more than just work on his patients; he ensure that they understand what seems to be the issue and how they can take steps to better themselves. Dr. Ron has taken time to come in on days that he is usually off, simply because I was in need of an adjustment.
Over 15 years, Dr. Ronald Santangelo has treated me, my wife and my son for various reasons. Dr. Ron saw my son while he was an athlete in high school, my wife following a car accident and years later saved my life. In early 2016, I had silently been dealing with a back pain for far too long. My wife suggested I schedule an appointment with Dr. Ron for an adjustment. I wasn’t in the office very long after I described my pain and Dr. Ron explained he would not be treating me that day. Actually, he refused to treat me before I went for an x-ray. He sent me out of his office with a referral in my hand. What seemed like an inconvenience had literally saved my life. That x-ray revealed an Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm. Within a month I was scheduled for an endovascular surgery that is the reason I am alive today. If it weren’t for Dr. Ron’s intuition and medical knowledge I would not be here today. I am forever grateful to him.
Dr. Ron has been an enormous help to me in my overall health for the past few years. Recently, he was the one who diagnosed initially that I have a Morton’s Neuroma in my left foot and guided me to the proper medical experts to handle my condition. He has also been an excellent resource for overall health and is always willing to stay late, help out, or advise whenever necessary and always with humor and good nature. He clearly works hard to maintain his knowledge of not only the current medical conditions but his concern for patients as individuals is equally outstanding.
His patients are people first. His approach is now the ‘new’ method of approaching pain- free from harmful medicine that merely mascaraed the real problem and add poison to the body. For Ron, chiropractic medicine is more than a profession, it’s a way of life. He approaches all his patients differently as everyone’s pain generator may be different. His approach is individually based, he is a personal trainer for pain.
