Timothy P. McCabe, D.M.D.
Dr. McCabe was born and raised in Westfield, NJ where he attended Holy Trinity Inter Parochial School and Union Catholic Regional High School. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Montclair State University. He graduated Temple University School of Dentistry in Philadelphia, PA and completed his residency in pediatric dentistry from St. Christopher’s Hospital in Philadelphia, PA.
Dr. McCabe is the former president of the NJ Central Dental Society. He is a member of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry, American Dental Association, New Jersey Dental Association, American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, Academy of Dentistry International , Academy of Laser Dentistry and Academy for Sports Dentistry. Dr. McCabe is on staff at Overlook Hospital in Summit, NJ where he mentors fellow dentists. He is also on staff at Children’s Specialized Hospital in Mountainside, NJ.
Dr. McCabe is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. He is certified in Basic Cardiac Life Support (B.C.L.S.) and Pediatric Advanced Life support (P.A.L.S.). He has been repeatedly named New Jersey Monthly’s Top Dentist and NJ Family’s Top Kids Doc’s.
Dr. McCabe resides in Westfield, NJ with his wife and three children and enjoys, running, biking, swimming, reading and boating with his family and friends.

We have been very pleased with Dr. McCabe, and staff @ WPD. Dr. McCabe has treated my children and I with respect – taking time to answer questions, offering both options and suggestions. The assistant in the room (Marta?) was both pleasant and professional. That perfect mix made both my son and I comfortable with the procedure. Staff @ the front window are excellent!
Dr. McCabe was excellent from the second he picked up the phone at 8:45pm on a Sunday night. I also appreciated the follow up call on Monday morning to see how my son was feeling. I have since told 3 of my friends about Dr. McCabe. One is considering switching and the other 2 already go to your office.
I always dread taking my son to a dentist or doctor appointment due to his special needs. Although it was a very difficult time for him Dr. McCabe and all the staff that assisted were absolutely wonderful with him. It breaks my heart to see him in pain or crying but the staff made it so much better for us. I always recommend your group to everyone I know.
Outstanding service! I have 3 boys and have been going to see Dr. McCabe and Anitra for 14 years. The entire staff is warm, friendly, knowledgeable, and the quality of care deserves TEN stars. They also specialize in children with special needs which is a blessing for us special needs parents. I recommend them to anyone and everyone I know. I wish I was a kid again so I could go here.
